At Brentwood Children's Academy, we believe that early experiences enrich and stimulate the brain for future growth. Recent research shows that at least 80 percent of a child's brain development occurs by the age of three. In fact, if a child is not stimulated and provided specific windows of opportunity, as much as 30 percent of his brain capacity can be lost.

Knowing this, we provide a safe and healthy environment in which children are nurtured as individuals and are allowed to experience stimulated, supported learning. Our purpose is to meet these needs by providing quality care in a Christian environment. We strive to help children grow spiritually, physically, socially, emotionally and academically.

Our enriched program is designed to appeal to those who want more than traditional child care or preschool. Brentwood is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. We offer both full day and morning - only programs for families seeking personal development for their child. Our facility is approximately 6500 square feet with each of our classrooms approximately 1000 sq ft. Classrooms have high, vaulted ceilings and windows surround the rooms for natural light. All classrooms are vibrantly painted and decorated. We have arranged our classrooms to give each child the opportunity to explore language arts, science, math, reading, and writing. In addition, our environment provides the tools to develop their social and physical skills, as well as nurture their emotional growth.

Our established Christian curriculum and operational format is the foundation for delivering premium, quality education and child care services. Our ABeka curriculum utilizes standardized, proprietary-teaching manuals to ensure strict adherence to its teaching methods. It is a Christian based program, providing an enjoyable educational foundation with Christian character built in. Children learn to be kind, love God, obey, tell the truth, and be helpers. The Pledge of Allegiance is said daily along with a morning prayer and prayer before meals.

Our staff is trained in classroom management, positive discipline, and parent/teacher communication, along with many other required courses. Your child's teacher is trained for the child's age level and, for continuity and consistency, stays with him or her throughout the day. Our teachers are hired with experience, have 1st Aid and CPR and receive continued education classes throughout the year.

Whether your child is playing outside, learning inside, or exploring the world on a field trip, he or she is in the best of hands. Our intent is to create a sense of “extended family” for you and your child.
